My goodness!!!
It's been a few years since I've posted! I guess time flies along with everyday going life.
Well since my last post back in 2011, there have been a number of changes. My mom passed away after battling illness after illness. My sister and her family were by her side when the time came for her to be with God, and all her family and friends. It's been a long road since she's been gone. There have been times when I want to call her, then remember I can't. That's the hardest so far. It's been over a year, and I don't think you can ever really get over loosing a parent.
Jo, my sister recently married a wonderful man, Mike Albertson. His parents and our parents were friends for many years. Mike was a great comfort to Jo and the kids during mom's passing. He has been a wonderful step-father to Jo's kids, and loves them all tremendously. I'm happy knowing she has found a wonderful, kind, considerate, loving man to share her life with.
Dan's family suffered a loss also last year. His dad, Eugene passed away in Oct from a lung infection. That was hard also, as it came on suddenly, and no matter how much you prepare yourself, loosing a parent at any age is difficult. I'm sure him and mom are up there just chatting away.
We've also added a few new tractors, International CASE, and a new cattle barn to the farm. Oh, and we've moved to the farm also, almost forgot! Nothing else new besides that, just working hard. Enjoying the weather, and all the challenges that life throw our way.
I'm sure most of you already know all this, but just wanted to give a quick update. I'll will try to be better about coming here. I'll do a little updating on here, so please have patience, and excuse the dust!

Time Flies!!!!!
Phew!!!!
Where has 2011 gone!
I have been very neglectful with my blog for the past year.
Sorry to all of you that follow. I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted.
This year has brought many changes, mostly good, a few not so warm and fuzzy.
My outlook for 2012 is a little brighter.
I'm also wishing for a bright new year for all
my dear family and friends.

Wreath Kick
Well I've been on a wreath kick lately.
This is the newest one:
I made this from Stampin Up!'s Love Impressions Designer Series Paper, which is currently available in the Occasions Mini. I also use Real Red and Pretty in Pink 12x12 card stock to fill in and give a little more color.
I am trying to put a class together, if I get enough interest. The cost would be $25 per person; all materials included.

The weather
Lately the weather around here has been COLD!
So when trying to find something to do, you slowly
realized that there's ALOT to do.
There are two lists; what I want to do, and what I need to do.
What I want to do consists of making cards, working on different projects,
reading, getting caught up on shows that I have on the DVR, take a nap.
Now comes the list of what I need to do: Never ending laundry, sweep floors,
clean the bathroom, clean the kitchen, make sure there's something for lunch.
The above list is a never ending one, but it at least makes the first list a treat when
I actually get to it. I'm sure we all feel this way sometimes. Now if we could only
bottle children's energy and have it for those days when the Need To Do list is
what we need to get done.
