Wreath Kick

Well I've been on a wreath kick lately.

This is the newest one:

I made this from Stampin Up!'s Love Impressions Designer Series Paper, which is currently available in the Occasions Mini. I also use Real Red and Pretty in Pink 12x12 card stock to fill in and give a little more color.

I am trying to put a class together, if I get enough interest. The cost would be $25 per person; all materials included.

Stampin Up! DSP Wreath

A friend of mine showed me this project over on SCS.
It was alot of fun, a project that was easy to do.
This wonderful project has a tutorial
by Chris Twig on her blog:
I found the "extruded" wreath rings at
Hobby Lobby and Michael's, in their
styrofoam isles.

Rosette Tree

I found this great tutorial at Archivers.com.

They had this great idea on their blog!
Mine doesn't look exactly like theirs, but I did give it
a good try.

I used mostly paper I had on hand so it's not the two sided kind.
Brought it to work, and it was a big hit!

Aren't these great!

I got the stamps from Archiver's on one of my trips to the doctor.

I used Stampin Up! Real Red & Brilliant Blue ink and cardstock

along with Whisper White for the back ground.

Oh My!!!!!

Oh my goodness, I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post.

Well that goes to show you how busy it can get during the summer.

I had to work July 4th, not so busy, but the day after was not so fun. We ended up
getting really busy that Sunday. I don't think I had a chance to sit down at all.

Last weekend was Maritime Festival in Harbor Beach. During this time there is jet ski races. Racers come from all over to compete against each other. There is also a 5k run/walk for all different ages.

Mom, Jo and the kids were here during Maritime weekend. We came into town to check out all the activities. There was a craft show and the local public school had "bouncy" activities for younger ages. Haylie really liked going from one to another. There was also frog jumping contests. That was fun to watch. We got back home fairly early and feasted on hot dogs, potato and taco salad. I had to do chores since Dan was spraying fields. Shawn and Haylie came with me to help with the cattle. They were also able to ride the 4-wheeler as I finished up. Then it was back to the house for a bonfire and s'mores. They left early Sunday morning, Shawn had a friend's party to go to and we had a graduation party.

I will try and get some pictures on of recent cards later.

Have a good weekend.
