Mother's Day Card

I made the following cards for Mother's day.

I used mostly Stampin Up! cardstock, inks, stamps,

and edge punch.
The stamped image is from a set of stamps I
received from a friend on Splitcoast Stampers.

To get the raised impression of flowers, I used

Fun Flock. Using tacky glue I sprinkled this over the image

after coloring and let dry. I realize it's hard to see, but

it was alot of fun to use.

Too all the wonderful mom's in the world......

Her love is like an island in life's ocean, vast and wide

A peaceful, quiet shelter

From the wind, the rain, the tide.

'Tis bound on the north by Hope,

By Patience on the West,

By tender Counsel on the South

And on the East by Rest.

Above it like a beacon light

Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;

And thro' the changing scenes of lifeI find a haven there.
